Our Management Overview approach starts by collaborating with you and your management team. Each client spends 3 days onsite with our experienced implementation Specialist at our VMS office in Pensacola, Florida. Management Overview provides you with a senior resource to assess your operational needs, research and prepare solutions, and create a project plan for software implementation, with the key focus of tailoring the software to meet your specific company objectives. Directly after Management Overview, you will be assigned a dedicated trainer, managed by the implementation manager, who will be your single point of contact throughout the entire software implementation process, delivering training in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Your customized project plan, finalized after management overview, covers all aspects of your software implementation, timeline dates and training goals. Our certified trainers spend an average of 5 days onsite, executing the objectives of the training plan. Our approach allows your staff to train as they work, thereby empowering them with the product knowledge and skills necessary to do the job, and thus reducing average time to competency. Prior to your “GO LIVE “date, your trainer will be available to you on a priority basis as you practice your newly acquired software functions. Teaches each individual user how to perform their daily software tasks. i.e. Creating and completing a Service Ticket, paying invoices, receiving material, etc. This training takes place at your facility or online per your request. After the trainer’s departure, practicing with the software is instrumental for your success with the system.
Go Live Training
Go Live Training takes place approximately 4 to 6 weeks after application training with your trainer onsite for 2-3 days. During this time the trainer will be your advocate to review reports, monitor transactions and postings, and respond quickly to any questions or issues that arise. Additionally, some training may occur for any non-critical applications that may not have been covered during the first week of training, due to some applications being pushed back due to some employees being trained in core applications and requiring a slower pace of training. After practicing with the system for 2 to 3 weeks (taking daily transactions and reviewing output), our trainer comes to your facility to be “hands on” while you have officially stopped taking transactions in your old system and you are using Ventus as your enterprise solution.
30 Day Followup
The fourth phase of our implementation process is a 1 month follow up session which usually takes place around the 10th of the month, following your first full month of processing data. This can be scheduled onsite or by WebEx. The focus of the one month follow up is train and assist you with month-end closing procedures as well as troubleshooting any reconciliation issues you may have that first month. We strongly encourage continual learning in the postimplementation period to help you develop a better understanding of the potential of your Ventus Software System as a whole. Your trainer will discuss the many training opportunities available. Online Review of your data and procedural training on closing your month. During this call there will be a hand off discussion that moves you from your implementation specialist to normalized support.
