Another way for physical counts
Although the VMS/Ventus Inventory Management is designed to be all inclusive, there are certain instances where, based on a company’s multiple locations or process work flows, it can be difficult for everyone participating in a physical count to log into Ventus to record their results as they count. To help make this process easier, it is now possible to import quantities from a spreadsheet into the physical count batch. For example, this spreadsheet can be imported in just a few simple steps.
Step 1:
ItemNo and Quantity columns will be found in your spreadsheet and all other information columns you use will not interfere with the import.
Step 2:
From your Physical Count Entry batch, the spreadsheet can be imported.
Step 3:
If there are any errors reading the import, a error report will be shown so that the problem can be quickly identified.
